- Fortune is “a global leader in business journalism with major franchises including the Fortune 500, Fortune Global 500, 100 Best Companies to Work For, 50 World’s Greatest Leaders, Most Powerful Women in Business, and 100 Fastest-Growing Companies.” A payment report indicates that they pay up to $2.00 per word. - Moneywise is an online publication that covers personal finance, investing, and retirement. According to an old payment report from 2018, they paid $500 for an 800 word article. To learn more and pitch them, visit this page.
- Wealth of Geeks is a website that offers tips and tricks to grow your wealth. The website also keeps you up-to-date with tech, gaming, pop-culture, movies, and celebrities. According to our previous research, they were interested in stories related to “personal finance, travel, autos, entertainment, sports, or geek culture, and the pay rate started at $150. Their pitch guide is no longer available, but you can contact them here.
- Forbes is a global media company that covers business, lifestyle, leadership, entrepreneurship, and technology. According to a recent payment report, they paid $0.10 per word for a 2,000-words report. To contact them, visit this page.
- Junei is a multimedia platform featuring stories about money. Their audience consists of Millennial and Gen Z citizens. They’re always open for submissions for first-person stories. The length of their stories is 800 to 1,000 words. Our previous research indicated that they paid a fixed rate of £120 per piece, but their guidelines are no longer on their website. - The Reynolds Center for Business Journalism is a non-profit centre that offers business journalism training to journalists. Our previous research indicated they were seeking journalists to cover business topics and that they paid $500 per completed article (around 500 words with at least one illustration/photo), but they no longer have a pitch guide. - The Financial Diet is a cross-platform media company and a digital destination where young women can talk about money. They are always seeking new freelance writers for their website. According to an old tweet from their creative director, they pay $250 for personal essays of 800 to 1,000 words. For details, visit their Write For Us page.
- Public Finance International (PFI) features news, opinion, insight, and events for public finance professionals around the world. It is published by Redactive Media Group on behalf of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA). It is a sister publication to Public Finance (which caters to the UK audience). The last time we checked, on February 26, 2025, they did not seem to be actively publishing, but you can contact them here.
